Great Women of the Great Lakes (GWGL) is a biennial event, showcasing the accomplishments of women in Michigan. It is an opportunity for women to come together and reflect on their many achievements. It is also the primary funding source for supporting candidates in upcoming election cycles. Over the years, the event has grown in both the number of attendees and the amount of money raised. Starting in 2019, we officially started recognizing honorees for their work. The 11th Great Women of the Great Lakes was held on September 28th.
